We are seeking an experienced selfstarterNetwork Engineerwith a passion for tackling complex network challenges and delivering exceptional service to our clients. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability and security of our clients networks including providing advanced network support troubleshooting complex issues and working closely with Tier 1 and Tier 2 teams to deliver superior service to our clients.

Key Responsibilities will include:
- Advanced Network Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve complex network issues including routing switching and firewall configurations to ensure optimal performance and uptime for our clients. You will be the goto person when it comes to anything related to the assigned clients environment
- Customer Onboarding: Assist in new customer due diligence assessments onboarding integration and support
- Network Design and Optimization: Collaborate with Tier 2 and engineering teams to design implement and optimize network solutions that align with client requirements and best practices
- Security Management: Assist in maintaining and enhancing network security measures including firewall rules intrusion detection systems and access controls to protect client assets from security threats
- Client Communication: Act as a point of contact for Tier 2 analysts client IT teams and clients themselves providing regular updates and ensuring clear and effective communication
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and uptodate documentation of network configurations changes and incident resolution procedures to facilitate efficient troubleshooting and future reference
- Monitoring and Alerts: Use network monitoring tools to proactively identify potential issues and respond to alerts promptly ensuring minimal network disruptions
- Escalation Support: Assist in Tier 2 escalations providing guidance and expertise to resolve network incidents and issues effectively.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on industry best practices emerging technologies and MSP standards and actively contribute to process improvements within the organization.
Our ideal future team member will have:
- Bachelors degree in Information Technology Computer Science or related field (preferred)
- Relevant certifications such as Cisco CCNA/CCNP CompTIA Network or equivalent
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in network administration troubleshooting and support. This includes proficiency in network technologies including routers switches firewalls and VPNs
- Ability to implement administer and troubleshoot network infrastructure devices including wireless access points firewall routers switches controllers
- Ability to manage several projects simultaneously from design to implementation
- Strong understanding of network protocols IP addressing and subnetting
- Ability to create accurate network diagrams and documentation for design and planning network communication systems
- Excellent problemsolving analytical communication & interpersonal skills while working in a collaborative team environment
- Willingness to participate in an oncall rotation for afterhours support
- This is fully remote position; however you must be located in the Southeast US (preferably Tennessee Georgia or Florida).Occasional travel to onboard new client sites is also required.
