**Job Description:**
United Trades of America is seeking hardworking and reliable individuals to join our team for the cleanup and restoration efforts in the wake of recent natural disasters across Louisiana. As a **Disaster Relief Cleanup Worker** you will play a critical role in helping communities recover from devastation. The role involves physical labor working in sometimes hazardous conditions and adhering to safety protocols.
**Responsibilities:**
Assist with debris removal cleaning and disposal from disasterstricken areas.
Help clear and prepare properties for rebuilding efforts.
Remove damaged materials including furniture appliances and construction debris.
Support specialized teams with site preparation and restoration activities.
Follow safety guidelines and procedures to ensure a safe work environment.
Coordinate with team leaders and other volunteers to efficiently complete tasks.
Operate tools and equipment as necessary (e.g. chainsaws heavy equipment).
Communicate effectively with supervisors and coworkers to ensure tasks are completed efficiently.
**Requirements:**
Must be 18 years or older.
Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and perform strenuous physical labor.
Willingness to work in various weather conditions and environments.
Prior experience in disaster cleanup or construction is a plus but not required.
Valid drivers license is preferred.
Must pass a background check and drug screening.
