About the Academy:
Outwood Academy Acklam the first Outwood school in Teesside has an enrollment of almost 1200 students each academic year. In its most recent assessment it was recognized as a GOOD school.
The academy is a vibrant and diverse 1116 academy. Our exceptional academic and pastoral teams are here to provide you with the necessary tools to make a significant and lasting impact on students. The academy offers effective care and support for students particularly those with special needs and with a strong emphasis on academic achievement it provides the perfect environment for anyone dedicated to empowering their students.
About the role:
As a subject teacher you will be required to complete the professional duties that are expected of a UK qualified Teacher in accordance with academy policies and procedures and your subject specialism.
You should promote the achievement of high standards through effective teaching and learning within your subject area including the preparation application and development of lesson resources in alignment with the curriculum as directed by your department head and senior leaders within the academy.
You will be responsible for effective classroom management and the coordinator of class work with any classroom support staff that are present. You must evaluate lessons and incorporate student views and responses to reflect and identify areas of development.
Applicants must hold UK QTS if trained overseas have the relevant evidence that your qualification equates to UK QTS.
