Are you willing to travel throughout Fife as part of the Minor Maintenance Team of Janitors Undertaking minor maintenance compliance checks and associated documentation repairs as required.
We currently have a temporary post to join our team on a Monday to Friday between the hours of 7:30am and 3:42pm with 1 hour for lunch.
You will earn a competitive salary of 27087.17 to 29508.96 per yearand have access to a range of benefits including:
You will be required to work on your own or as part to of a Team covering the following:
Undertaking tasks which will be of a DIY nature limited by the particular skills experiences and/or training of individuals the availability of tools and related equipment and the overriding importance of safety considerations.
Liaising as required with outside contractors either directly or through property services staff ensuring (with heads) that contractors have the necessary Public Liability Insurance and they comply with relevant aspects of Health and Safety Legislation.
Carrying out prescribed procedures in the event of fire flooding accident or damage including liaising with appropriate staff contractors etc.
Responding to problems and resolving issues.
A willingness to complete additional training as required.
The Person
Before confirming your appointment you will be required to obtain Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) scheme membership through Disclosure Scotland and become a member of the relevant PVG scheme.
Ability to provide a regular and effective service working alone or as part of a Team.
You will be required to attend an Induction Training Day before starting in post.
