The Anthropology Department at Skidmore College invites applications for a twoyear fulltime visiting assistant professor position in cultural anthropology beginning Fall 2025. We seek a broadly trained cultural anthropologist withdemonstrated excellence in undergraduate teaching. The position requires teaching 5 courses per year (18 credits) including Introduction to Cultural Anthropology (both semesters) a midlevel geographic or topical course and two upperlevel must demonstrate excellence in teaching and a strong commitment to undergraduate education at a liberal arts college. PhD required at time of appointment.
