Job Description
Qualifications:
- Valid Texas Principal/MidManagement certifcation or currently working toward a Principal/MidManagemen Certifcate
- Minimum of 3 years teaching experience; Administrative experience preferred
- Strong background or previous experience in curriculum and instruction preferred
- TTESS certifed or ability to earn TTESS certification
- Ability to communicate effectively with students parents faculty and staff
- Ability to provide instructional leadership and supervision of campus personnel
- Ability to prioritize demanding tasks in order to complete
- Ability to provide coverage of extracurricular events throughout the school year and possibly into the summer
- Strong Microsoft Office and Google Suite skills required
- Ability to be a team player on the administrative staff
Responsibilities:
- Provide supervision of curriculum instruction and assessments for Randall High School
- Collaborate with and supervise campus PLC leaders and PLCs
- Communicate effectively with students parents faculty staff campus administrators and district administrators
- Collaboratively create implement and monitor an effective Campus Needs Assessment and Campus Improvement Plan for high academic achievement for all students
- Assist in planning and delivery of professional development
- Monitor multiple forms of student data to inform instructional and intervention decisions and contribute to maximizing student achievement.
- Collaboratively build the master schedule and maintenance of course offerings
- Provide feedback and supervision of faculty through formal and informal observations
- Provide collaboration and supervision of state assessments
- Supervision of students throughout the school day including before and after school supervision
- Provide coverage of extracurricular activities throughout the school year and possibly into the summer. Some travel will be required.
