What Youll Do
- Develop/assist in development processing and implementation of safety & industrial hygiene training both for the plant and for Safety & Industrial Hygiene personnel through Lesson Plan management LMS administration and class delivery as appropriate.
- Act as the document custodian for all Safety & Industrial Hygiene procedures and requirements documents to ensure timely edit and publication of documents as necessary.
- Oversee the entry processing and approvals for Safety & Industrial Hygiene equipment and instrumentation through the technical review request and engineering evaluation release process.
- Assist with development of ES&H focused communications for the plant including articles notifications safety alerts learning from incidents/lessons learned and daily handouts.
- Maintain requirements flowdown documentation in the Requirements Management System.
- Contribute to the completion of Safety & Industrial Hygiene process improvement objectives and organizational projects.
- Support review flowdown and appropriate implementation of Lessons Learned.
- Manage departmental information through support of databases and software such as Access databases SharePoint and Tableau dashboards.
- Assist with maintaining metrics for both Industrial Safety & Industrial Hygiene and performing analysis of performance via such metrics.
- Guide and/or assist with departmental and plantwide safety initiatives such as safety campaigns safety fairs or VPP.

Minimum Job Requirements
- Bachelors degree with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience ranging from 7 to 10 years.
- Masters degree with a minimum of3 years of relevant experience. Typical experience ranging from 7 to 10 years.
- PhD.
- Applicants with a high school diploma or equivalent may be considered on an exceptional basis with 12or more years of relevant experience.
- In addition the applicant must meet the requirements of DOE O 426.2 (i.e. Baccalaureate in engineering or related science 2 years jobrelated and at least 1 year nuclear experience or a DOE O 426.2 alternative). DOE 426.2 experience requirements can be satisfied following employment. In the interim newly hired personnel will not be assigned duties that could impact the safety basis of nuclear facilities. Preferred Job Requirements
- A Bachelors Degree with at least four years related work experience in support activities related to training document development and processing database entry and database management communications and/or ES&H compliance and support activities.
