JOB TITLE:
Intern for the Office of Space Management
JOB PURPOSE:
The Office of Space Management is seeking a motivated parttime CAD/GIS student technician to support space management and assist with multiple department functions and projects. This office manages the Universitys real estate assets including the building and space allocation inventory.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Use of Autodesk AutoCAD and/or ESRI ArcGIS software to update University space and facility data
- Maintain campus floor plans and space inventory
- Maintain University drawing archive
- Field data collection using GPS and other methods of measurement
SUPPLEMENTAL FUNCTIONS:
Other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: High School Diploma/GED
Experience: Operation of Microsoft Office (Excel Access Outlook Word PowerPoint) database experience working knowledge of either ESRI ArcGIS or Autodesk AutoCAD
Other requirements: Valid drivers license with a motor vehicle record (MVR) that is compliant with the University Vehicle Use Policy.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Knowledge of ArcGIS and/or AutoCAD
- Field data collection experience using GPS or other methods of measurement
- Experience working in an architect engineer or contractor office
