In this role you will:
Collaborate with the continuous improvement team to enhance and monitor operational excellence.
Partner with engineers to learn and implement techniques for improving packaging equipment reliability and efficiency.
Propose and implement improvements in site process technology focusing on quality cost and capacity optimization.
Lead support and coach data analysis using appropriate Operational Excellence (OpEx) tools.
Conduct shared investigations with technical compliance and operations process team members.
Integrate Good Manufacturing Practices (GxP) and regulatory compliance into all project scopes designs and construction work.
Identify analyze prioritize and execute business solutions performing root cause analysis to eliminate repeat issues.
Support Quality and Safety investigations by coaching on Six Sigma methodologies and conducting safety inspections.
High school diploma (or equivalent) with 8 years of experience or associates degree with 6 years of experience or BA/BS with 2 years of experience or MBA/MS with any years of relevant experience
Solid understanding of Process Monitoring systems including knowledge of PLC/computer systems
Ability to work effectively with site colleagues through the change process
Strong verbal and written English communication capabilities
Functional knowledge of Microsoft SharePoint and Office applications particularly Excel
Ability to organize data and plan for the future
Experience in fostering a Continuous Improvement Culture
Relevant pharmaceutical experience
Demonstrated ability to effectively coach and mentor colleagues
Strong problemsolving skills
Ability to lead and influence crossfunctional teams
Experience with Six Sigma methodologies
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
Physical:
Ability to lift up to 30lbs stand for 2 to 3 hours at a time sit for 2 to 3 hours at a time walk long distances and bend to obtain items from lower shelving/cabinets.
Mental:
Intellectual capability to perform mathematical problems and perform data analysis.
Energy enthusiasm & capability to drive change and commitment to challenge how we currently operate
An ability to work as a member of a team in a complex fastpaced and goal driven environment
Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills
Willingness to share ideas to learn and to be challenged
Work schedule is standard days shift; may include a few nights or weekend days for special projects.
Limited travel for the position as training and projects require.
Position is hybrid with some activities being able to be executed remotely.
