Project ACE and Project EDGE:
The Upward Bound Project ACE (Achieving Academic and Career Excellence) and EDGE (Exploration and Determination Guarantees Excellence) programs are designed to provide opportunities for fundamental support to participants in their preparation for college entrance. The goal is to increase the rate at which participants complete secondary education and graduate from institutions of postsecondary education. Our goal is to recruit participants into the Upward Bound program retain them graduate them and get them ready for postsecondary education admittance and graduation.
The Opportunity:
The Data & Resource Coordinator II is a 100% twelvemonth position. The Coordinator reports to the Manager of the Upward Bound Project EDGE Program and is responsible for monitoring collecting compiling and analyzing data related to the program objectives performance measures Competitive Preference Priority (CPP) and the Annual Performance Review (APR). Further the position will maintain a robust partner network and will assist in the overall coordination of services and opportunities for program participants. This position will be shared between Project ACE and Project EDGE.
This is a Contract and Grant (C&G) funded position. Employment is subject to availability of funding and may cease at the time funding for this employment is depleted.
This is a visiting and renewable position. Visiting positions are based on circumstances such as funding sources which control the length of time for which the position is available. Position will be renewable up to a period of four years.
Classification Title: Academic Support Coordinator II
Responsibilities:
Generates evaluations using formative summative qualitative and quantitative data monthly and annually to evaluate program effectiveness and outcomes.
Request progress reports report cards and transcripts and work with Academic Support Coordinator to develop workshops that align with services and evaluations.
Assists with Annual Performance Review (APR); enter transcripts and student data at end of program year (August). Requests National Clearinghouse reports for high school graduates. Enters and corrects APR data into Blumen.
Cultivates and strengthens internal (UCF) and external (communitybased) relationships to identify areas in working together to support program participants.
Coordinates with internal and external partners to schedule community workshops for program participants; manage and monitor invitation list.
Provide ongoing input information and materials that support internal and external communication efforts and programming and opportunities.
Conducts outreach to secure resources from partners to provide incentives and programming for students.
Develops scholarship and internship lists for program participants.
Conducts research from other Upward Bound program to gain best practices to support the needs of the program participants.
Conducts campus tours for other TRIO programs.
Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelors or Masters degree and 2 years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience pursuant to Fla. Stat. 112.219. Click here for more information
Preferred Qualifications:
We welcome candidates with experience in any of the following areas:
Preferred degree in Business Administration Social Science Data Science or a related field.
Strong working knowledge of community resources and experience in community building/outreach.
Experience in data entry data management data collection.
Experience working with firstgeneration atrisk and lowincome students.
Experience working with a federally funded program.
Familiar with UCF campus. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and in a collaborative setting.
Strong analytical computer and organizational skills.

Special Instructions to the Applicants:
Must pass Level 1 and 2 background check per UCF requirements for working with minor youth.
This position works fully on site at UCFs Main Campus.
