Job Description
We are looking for a Senior System Engineer to join our clients London office.
Team / Role:
As a Senior System Engineer you will:
-
Provide technical support for the production environment ensuring system stability and performance.
-
Optimize infrastructure architecture in cloud environments to achieve bestinclass network performance.

Debug kernellevel performance issues and resolve production incidents in real time.
-
Tackle complex network and Linuxrelated challenges.

Participate in infrastructure architecture design including office expansion projects.
Required Skillset:
-
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Software Engineering or a related technical discipline (or equivalent experience).

10 years of experience supporting Linux production environments and working in cloud infrastructure.
-
Strong knowledge of modern Linux systems and systems programming concepts (e.g. sockets virtual memory process lifecycle).
-
Extensive handson experience with Terraform Bash and Python.
-
Proven ability to estimate project work and deliver results on schedule.
-
Skilled in writing clear concise and comprehensive documentation.
-
Previous experience leading a small team is preferred.
Preferred Background:

Prior experience at a trading firm or with trading technology environments.
