Becoming an Apprentice with the City of Newcastle (CN) will provide you with the opportunity to combine onthejob learning with structured training.
This position is based within the Civic Services Food and Beverage Team and will see you work in conjunction with experienced and qualified people with your main focus being on assisting in the preparation and presentation of food primarily in City Hall.
Upon successful completion of this apprenticeship you will gain the qualification of Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery will be attained.

What is next
If you are successful in progressing to the next stage of our recruitment process you will be required to attend 1 x group assessment centre for a 3hour period between Tuesday 27th May Thursday 29th May 2025. Preemployment medicals will take place on Monday 9 Tuesday 12 June.

Remuneration: $36753.76 17.5% annual leave loading yearly payment 11.5% Superannuation per annum for a 38hour week
