Job Description:
This opening is for an Associate Inventory Management position within the Logistics organization. The candidate will be responsible for the procurement and materials management of balance sheet inventory (plant stock). The qualified candidate will be responsible for processing material queues for purchase requisitions processing material transfer requests analysis of materials for determining min/max levels and managing financial impacts through material and labor costs. Candidates will also be responsible for coordinating and interfacing with Material Program Managers Finance Customers HDL and Manufacturing personnel. Candidates will be responsible for completing tasks related to the performance of daily activities within Production & Logistics.Candidates must possess an attention to detail and the ability to thrive in a fastpaced environment. This position is for an individual contributor however candidates will support personnel across multiple shift assignments as well as multilevel management. Candidates will work independently and as a group/team.
Essential Functions:
- Experience within Logistics including Warehousing Receiving Shipping & Inventory Control
- Experience within MRP and Materials Management
- Experience within a production environment
- Understanding of financial impacts related to inventory management
Qualifications:
- Proficient in SAP software
- Proficient in MRP/ERP systems
- Proficient in Microsoft software
- Bachelors degree and 01years of direct work experience or Graduate degree
Preferred Additional Skills:
- Strong communication skills
- Computer experience with Microsoft Office (Excel & Word)
- Ability to work material queues and manage budgets
