Location: Office Base is Scotland .The location of this role is flexible role permitting the successful applicant can be based at any one of the BBCs offices in Scotland.

BBC Scotlands TV news team is looking for an experienced Senior Journalist to produce Reporting Scotland and the News at Seven.
Reporting Scotland is our flagship news programme for BBC One. We make sure we are at the heart of days big stories. The programme is fronted by a talented team of presenters with reporters providing engaging packages and live analysis.
The News at Seven launched at the beginning of the year. It is our sister programme and goes on air straight after Reporting Scotland on the BBC Scotland channel. We take on the issues affecting our audience offering analysis and guest interviews. We also find community stories and celebrate Scottish culture. We present the news in a more informal and conversational tone.
This is an opportunity for someone to help us shape the content we provide for our audience. As a senior journalist you will be called on to deal with the big news stories of the day. Your editorial experience also means you will be outputting programmes. Youll guide a team of journalists and technical staff to deliver your vision.
We want to hear from you even if you havent worked in TV. We will provide you with the technical training to get you up to speed. Whats more important is that you come to the role with good news judgement loads of creative ideas and an enthusiasm for how we are shaping the programmes we produce.
The role requires taking on a variety of shifts and weekend working.
