This position resides with The Alberta NewHome Warranty Program (ANHWP) and works alongside The New Home WarrantyInsurance (Canada) Corporation (NHWICC) and the Professional Home BuildersInstitute of Alberta (PHBI) and Dweller Home Services.
Accountable for:
The successful incumbent will be accountable for creating engaging social media website contentincluding graphics videos and interactive posts while maintaining brandconsistency. Responsibilities include developing reusable templates photoediting and supporting event materials. Creativity and trend awareness areessential for contributing fresh ideas and collaborating on new contentconcepts.
Work location: Calgary Alberta
Term: May 20 2025 to August 222025
Working hours: 8:30am 4:30pm (35 hours/week)
Wage: $18/hour
Responsibilities:
Create engagingcontent for social media and the website
Design graphicsedit photos and create short videos
Develop and maintainreusable content templates
Support marketingmaterials for events
Ensure allcontent aligns with brand guidelines
Contributecreative ideas and stay uptodate with trends
Skills andExperience:
Basic designskills using tools like Canva Adobe Express or similar
Experience withsocial media platforms (Instagram Facebook LinkedIn)
Comfortableediting simple videos (e.g. using CapCut iMovie)
Strong writingand communication skills
Attention todetail and time management
Understanding ofbrand consistency and visual identity
Awareness ofcurrent social media trends
Basic marketingprinciples
Familiarity withcontent planning and scheduling tools is a plus (e.g. SproutSocial HootsuiteLater Buffer etc.)
Must be between theages of 16 and 30 as this position is partially funded by the Canada SummerStudent grant program
Currently enrolledin a postsecondary education in business/marketing or related area andreturning to a postsecondary institution following your work term. Candidatesmust be at least in the 2nd year of their Program.
Available andlegally authorized to work in Canada for a 14week full time workterm.
