We are searching for Food & Beverage Supervisors who are passionate about cuisine and enthusiastic about a total guest experience. You have a broad understanding of the day to day supervision of the Food & Beverage departments within Prospect Point. You help to ensure the best possible Food & Beverage experience for both Guests and Team Members at Prospect Point. In addition you assist the Food & Beverage Manager in evaluating the value of the guests food & beverage experience and communicate any new ideas or concerns to assist in the development and implementation of Food & Beverage programs.
Who you are:
- 1 to 2 years of supervisory experience in a similar Food & Beverage venue
- POS experience an asset
- Food Safe Level II and Serving it Right certifications an asset
- Must be of legal drinking age as supervising in licensed areas
- Can handle stressful situations and meet fluctuating and demanding needs
- Second Language is an asset.
Responsibilities:- Works with the Food and Beverage Supervisors and Managerto oversee daily operations of Prospect Point
- Follows Food Safe guidelines and trains Team Members on company standards of handling preparation and presentation of menu items
- Ensures replenishment of stock and cleanliness of all food venues
- Communicates and submits orders to with suppliers and receives supplier orders
- Organizes daily and monthly cleaning schedules in all venues
- Communicates with Food & Beverage Manager Supervisors and other department managers
- Ensure serving team accurately places food orders in a timely manner while acknowledging all guests
- Work with the culinary team to ensure food orders are received accurately and that food storage areas are kept clean and tidy
- Ensure all opening closing and other duties are completed daily
- Execute a la carte meal tour and special event business
- Be proactive in attracting guests to the restaurant by creating connections with Pavilion guests
- Assist with daily monitoring and tracking of Guest feedback (informal and formal guest surveys).
- All other duties as assigned.
Considerations:
- Must be available to work a variety of shifts including evenings weekends and holidays to meet the needs of the business
- While performing the duties of this position Team Members are required to be on their feet for extended periods of time
- Working outdoors in all types of weather
- Occasionally required to lift and carry up to 20lbs
- Occasionally required to lift and climb a step ladder or step stool
