Regional Safety Champion (EHS Specialist)
Location: Based near Fresno CA (preferreed); Santa Fe Springs CA (secondary) area
Travel: 50%70% required
Employment Type: FullTime Salaried (BiWeekly Pay)
Salary: $75000 $85000 with potential to reach $90000 depending on experience and cost of living considerations

thyssenkrupp Materials NA (tkMNA) is seeking a proactive passionate and peopleoriented Regional EHS Specialist to lead safety efforts across multiple facilities. Youll be part of a collaborative missiondriven team that values your expertise and empowers you to make a lasting impact.
This role partners directly with our dynamic organized and respected hiring manager known for her exceptional relationships across all levels of the business. Shes a passionate leader who values development inclusion and clear communication.
What Youll Do:
Champion and foster a positive preventative safety culture across 47 locations
Lead risk assessments and drive sitespecific improvement strategies
Facilitate incident investigations and deliver actionable followups
Design and deliver safety trainings and toolkits that engage every level of staff
Perform safety and 6S audits tracking metrics and reporting outcomes
Build knowledge and coach site leadership and employees on EHS practices
Stay current with OSHA EPA NFPA and local regulations ensuring full compliance
Work closely with tkMMSs OSH Safety Director
Maintain accurate records conduct root cause analysis and improve performance indicators
Be available for 24/7 emergency support offering remote or onsite guidance when needed
What You Bring:
Minimum Requirements:
3 years of EHS experience including 1 in a manufacturing or industrial setting
Familiarity with OSHA/EPA compliance standards and safety procedures
Strong communicator with effective coaching/training abilities
Proven track record improving safety metrics and conducting root cause analysis
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word Excel PowerPoint)
Willingness to travel 5070% and provide oncall support
Ability to obtain OSHA 10/30hour certification within 60 days and CPR/First Aid within 90 days of hire
Preferred:
Bachelors degree in occupational safety industrial hygiene or related field
Experience managing environmental and safety programs across multiple sites
