Job Description

At Neuvant House of Lawrence we are passionate about creating a warm enriching and supportive environment for residents in our assisted living and memory care community. We are currently seeking a Life Enrichment Assistant who is also a Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) to join our team and help deliver meaningful engaging activities that improve quality of life and support emotional wellbeing.
What Youll Do:
- Assist in planning and leading engaging groups and oneonone activities for residents in assisted living and memory care
- Foster social interaction cognitive stimulation physical activity and creative expression
- Encourage participation and adapt activities based on residents needs and abilities
- Provide support with mobility and basic care during programs as needed
- Collaborate with nursing and care teams to deliver personcentered programming
- Escort residents to events and community outings
- Maintain activity supplies and help set up and decorate for events and holidays
- Track attendance and document resident participation
What Were Looking For:
- Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) Required (Kansas license must be current)
- Experience working in assisted living or memory care preferred
- Outgoing patient and compassionate with excellent communication skills
- Creative and enthusiastic about improving the lives of seniors
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Comfortable using basic technology
- Must be able to lift 25 lbs and assist with mobility support when needed
- Valid drivers license preferred (for outings and events)
- Time management is a must
