Job Description
We are seeking a proficient Software Engineer to build and maintain responsive web applications using Core for frontend development with a focus on integrating with backend APIs. You will deliver highquality scalable solutions using modern web technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop responsive frontend applications using Core Razor Pages and MVC.
- Integrate with backend gRPC services and RESTful APIs.
- Handling authentication (e.g. OAuth OpenID Connect) and JSON serialization.
- Optimize clientside performance with efficient JavaScript CSS and bundling/minification.
- Write and maintain unit tests (e.g. NUnit MSTest) to ensure robust functionality.
- Collaborate with backend teams to define API/service contracts and troubleshoot integration issues.
- Contribute to code reviews documentation and CI/CD pipeline maintenance using Gitbased workflows.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Software Engineering or equivalent experience.
- 0 years of experience developing web applications with Core (MVC and Razor Pages).
- Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance is required.
- Strong proficiency in C# HTML CSS (Bootstrap) JavaScript and TypeScript.
- Experience in integrating with gRPC services and RESTful APIs including error handling and retry mechanisms.
- Expertise in integrating authentication and authorization services including JWT OAuth 2.0 and OpenID Connect for secure API and service interactions.
- Experience writing unit tests with frameworks like NUnit or MSTest.
- Proficiency with Git for source control including branching merging and integration with CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity with and npm for managing frontend dependencies and build scripts (e.g. Webpack npm scripts).
- Solid understanding of web security practices including XSS prevention CSRF protection and secure API communication (HTTPS CORS).
Preferred Qualifications:
- 4 years of experience developing web applications with Core (MVC and Razor Pages).
- Experience with cloudbased deployment and management of web applications (e.g. Azure AWS)
- Familiarity with basic integration testing for API interactions.
- Experience in Docker for containerized service deployment and development.
- Knowledge of SignalR for realtime web functionality.
- Knowledge of and npm.
