The Dexcom Logistics and Distribution team is dedicated to operating a safe scalable and worldclass logistics network solely focused on our customers success. Our daily operations extend beyond the physical movement of boxes. We strive to create a smooth and efficient flow of goods that directly contributes to the success of our business and the satisfaction of customers worldwide. Within this department we encourage every team member to think creatively and contribute to our continuous improvement efforts to enhance our operations and your contribution is essential. We are looking for team members that comprehend concepts rapidly perform safely and efficiently in a fastpaced environment and are driven by challenges.

Where you come in:

You will effectively perform warehouse tasks such as receiving shipping and inventory control in accordance with safety quality and applicable standard operating procedures

You will effectively operate a powered industrial vehicle (i.e. Forklift Reach Truck) to unload/load materials and transport them between locations

You will do investigations and resolution of logistics issues within our planning and warehouse systems

You will coordinate inbound and outbound shipping through verbal communication email or instant messaging

You will drive identified or assigned process improvements through collaboration with other team members or process partners

You will provide On the Job Training to both existing and new team members as assigned

You will investigate and provide followup responses to customer inquiries

You will perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned

What makes you successful:

You have 2 years of experience in a logistics/warehouse operation or supply chain related role

You are able to stand walk and perform repetitive tasks for the majority of 12hour shifts

You have 1 years of experience interfacing with warehouse management systems using a handheld scanner and/or computer

You have 2 years experience operating powered industrial vehicles (i.e. Forklift Reach Truck)

You have a acceptable driving record

You have experience with MS Office applications (MS Excel Word Outlook)

You have experience demonstrating problem recognition and problem solving

Experience and Education Requirements:

Typically requires a minimum of 46 years of related experience and a High school diploma/certificate or equivalent.

Language Skills:

Must be able to communicate effectively in English. Examples of English language proficiency may include (but are not limited to): ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals; ability to write routine reports and correspondence; ability to verbally communicate with leadership employees and auditors; ability to comprehend spoken language.

Physical Demands:

Employees in this position may be required to perform the following physical activities: standing walking and sitting for extended periods of time; frequent use of the hands fingers wrist and greater arm to handle small materials tools boxes and trays; lifting and carrying objects up to 50Ibs; occasional overhead reaches and lifts; occasional lifts and reaches below the knee; occasional pushing and pulling of materials and objects with moderate forces; occasional crouching/kneeling twisting and squatting movements.

Work Environment:

Employees may be exposed to the following environmental conditions while performing this job: work near moving parts work with chemicals outdoor weather conditions exposure to intense light and/or intermittent light fastpaced work and elevated noise levels.
