Base Pay Range:
$73000 $85000As a Pricing Strategy Analyst your essential job functions will include the following:
Pricing Analytics/Strategy
- Analyze large datasets to uncover pricing opportunities and trends using tools such as Excel SQL Python and Power BI
- Design implement and monitor pricing strategies to maximize revenue and profitability
- Conduct profitability and margin analyses to evaluate product and service performance
- Assess market conditions to provide actionable insights
- Continuously optimize pricing processes through automation and innovative approaches
- Work with predictive models to forecast pricing outcomes and customer behavior
- Develop dashboards and reporting tools to communicate pricing insights to stakeholders
- Provide datadriven insightdraw valid conclusions and make strategic recommendations
- Communicate findings through clear visual presentations that can be easily consumed by team members and executives making complex analyses understandable to technical and nontechnical stakeholders
- Provide trustworthy guidance factchecking and advice for colleagues and project sponsors
- Share knowledge and support colleagues to foster a collaborative learning environment contributing as an integral member of the team
- Cross functional collaboration with Program Management Sales Supplier Relations and Inventory Management and Finance teams to align pricing decisions with broader business strategies
Manage Datasets
- Dive into datautilize programming tools to cleanse validate and ensure the quality of structured and unstructured data sets
- Apply transformation techniques (e.g. missing data standardizing formats detecting outliers duplicate data) to move data from its raw form into clean highquality data tables
- Use SQL and data APIs to interact with data stored in various systems from relational databases to file systems
- Collect and curate data needed for research from both internal and external sources
- Collaborate with Data Scientist and Data Solutions team members to achieve datarelated goals.
Position Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree preferably in Mathematics Computer Science Data Science Engineering Business Statistics or a related field
- 24 years of experience of experience in analytics pricing financial analysis or other related business field.
- Strong proficiency in analytical tools (e.g. SQL Python R) and visualization platforms (e.g. Tableau Power BI)
- Familiarity with Groovy programming language
- Excellent problemsolving skills and ability to translate data into actionable business recommendations
- Familiarity with pricing theories and concepts including elasticity and market segmentation.
- Familiarity with data analysis pricing strategies or financial modeling
- Exceptional communication skills to present findings to nontechnical audiences
