Part Time Summer Product Designer

About the Role

We are seeking a creative detailoriented Product Design parttime individual to join our Retail POS team this summer. This parttime role offers the opportunity to work alongside experienced product designers contribute to real product initiatives and gain exposure to usercentered design processes in a fastpaced collaborative environment.

What Youll Do

• Assist in wireframing prototyping and visual design for upcoming retail software features

• Participate in user research and help analyze feedback to inform design decisions

• Support documentation and organization of design system updates

• Collaborate crossfunctionally with product engineering and research teams

• Attend team standups and design critiques to present your work and gather feedback

What Were Looking For

• Interest in product design UX/UI humancentered design or related fields

• Basic knowledge of design tools such as Figma or Sketch

• Strong communication and collaboration skills

• Curiosity and willingness to learn from feedback and critique

• Ability to manage time and meet deadlines in a parttime capacity

Minimum Requirements

• High school diploma (or equivalent)

• Currently pursuing or recently completed coursework in design business computer science or a related discipline preferred

• Must be available for parttime work (20 hours/week) throughout the summer period

We collectively believe pretty is not enough and support the broader team effort to ship products that are solid from architecture to interface. This role will work in close collaboration with product management development corporate product design sales and clients. Performance will be measured by delivering assigned tasks against iterative deadlines and overall team contribution to revenue.
