Senior Network Advisor IWhat does a successful Senior Network Advisor I do at Fiserv
A successful Senior Network Advisor I will manage moderate to complex issues that arise in the Network Organization. You will partner with leaders and technical teams to identify the details of the problem and provide detailed steps mitigate impact and restore service. You will be heavily focused on managing the ITIL process and drive change management including SOPs change templates and change governance and approvals.
What you will do:
- Proactively monitor and identify trends related to incidents change and problem and recommend viable solutions to prevent future occurrences partnering with leaders and technical teams to drive a reduction in client impacting incidents
- Partner with Fiserv clients to solve complex problems and ensure operational stability
- Open problem records and assign tasks for all incidents
- Maintain workstream documentation
- Help with the review of and the acceptance or rejection of major incident proposals
- Support and drive automation elimination and simplification of our current processes
What you will need to have:
- 8 years of operational or incident management experience
- 5 years of experience using and creating monitoring and alerting tools such as Splunk ServiceNow and Microsoft Power Automate
- 5 years of experience using enterprise communication tools such as Teams and Outlook
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel PowerPoint Teams)
- Bachelors degree in computer science or related field and/or equivalent military experience
What would be great to have:
- Ability to effectively communicate both and up and down throughout the organization and ability to swivel between business and IT employees
- Ability to effectively multitask and handle competing priorities
- ITIL certification
