Step into Your New Role
Kleinfelder is currently seeking an Onsite Laboratory Technician to perform testing and provide coordination quality management and oversight to its lab in Seattle WA. This position is fulltime temporary with an opportunity to convert to a fulltime regular position after 2 months.
We provide construction inspection and material testing services to a broad range of local and national clients. We are looking for individuals who are interested in in joining a dynamic team and building their career in the field of construction inspection and materials testing.
Were looking for a person with strong initiative who will perform routine to complex testing ofconstruction materials in the laboratoryto verify conformance to construction plans and specifications and geotechnical engineering purposes.
The Technician will perform testing on soils asphalt aggregates and concrete materials. Must be detail oriented. Technicianmay be called upon to perform various tasks at the discretion of the supervisor.
Preferred Certifications include:
- ACI Aggregate Testing Technician Level 1
- ACI Aggregate Testing Technician Level 2
- ACI Concrete Strength Testing Technician
- ACI Concrete Field Testing Technician Grade 1

Must be able to use a computer and a general knowledge of MS Office including Word Excel and Outlook is required. Must have own vehicle a valid drivers license and clean driving record required. Majority of work will be at the Seattle Office Laboratory but must be willing to travel locally as required to fulfill project assignments. Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
Education:High school diploma or equivalent required.
