Job Summary
Responsible for assisting in maintaining the implementation and daily operations of the Compliance Program. Complete oversight activities that include but are not limited to assisting in the implementation and daily operations of the compliance oversight program perform the distribution tracking and follow up of biennial compliance attestation to downstream partners and complete reporting of compliance activities to downstream partners and internal company personnel as appropriate. Participating conducting and documenting the coaching or other disciplinary actions for external agent infractions as prescribed by Carrier partners or as internal review dictates the need of such coaching/disciplinary action. Ensure the accuracy completeness integrity and relevance of all internal and external recording and reporting of compliance regulations guidelines and requirements. Assist with regulatory research by reviewing regulatory bulletins and other sources of information. Prepares reports by collecting analyzing and summarizing information. Assist with the timely responding to external audits / assessments with respect to the Companys Compliance / Privacy Program. Responsible for assisting with the reviewing of the Companys consumer facing website and other marketing materials with respect and consideration to CMS and Carrier marketing guidelines and requirements.
Primary Responsibilities:
Assists with the implementation and management of Compliance policies and procedures.
Develop comprehensive project plans prioritizing and executing tasks to implement Medicare and CMS regulations within the company and with external vendors.
Support the implementation of the Ritter Compliance Work Plan.
Ensure OIG exclusion list and GSA debarment lists have been checked for all employees contractors and officers monthly.
Ensure Companys policies and procedures are updated to reflect the current industry best practices and regulatory guidelines.
Support the establishment implementation and maintenance of downstream partner oversight activities.
Execute compliance monitoring/assessments of sales agents document results within established repository and reports results to Chief Compliance & Privacy Officer and Compliance & Risk Management Lead.
Complete oversight activities that include but are not limited to assisting in the implementation and daily operations of the compliance oversight program.
Coordinate the biennial Downstream Agency Attestation
Coordinate the biennial Downstream Agency compliance validation
Assist Downstream agencies in meeting compliance guidelines when needed

Assists the Chief Compliance & Privacy Officer and Compliance & Risk Management Lead with compliance education and training for independent agents.
Monitor track and report new and ongoing compliance trainings and activities.
Keep abreast of regulations industry and information technology changes.
Plan and performs audits and reports results to management.
Assists with maintaining effective business relationships with vendors outside auditors and regulators industry compliance teams and officers and professional trade groups.
Review the CMS website regularly and keeps current and future regulations guidelines and requirements.
Maintain relationships with carriers compliance teams to ensure fulfillment of compliance requirements.
Support external auditors as assigned.
Assists with the responsibility for reviewing the Companys consumer facing website and marketing materials
Review and validate the Companys consumer facing website to ensure compliance with CMS guidelines and carriers plan data
Review and validate the Companys online enrollment forms against CMS and carriers specific guidelines
Assumes responsibility for miscellaneous duties as assigned by the Chief Compliance & Privacy Officer and Compliance & Risk Management Lead.
Primary Skills & Requirements:
Bachelors degree preferred.
Certified in Healthcare Compliance (CHC) or similar certification preferred.
Thorough knowledge of CMS and Medicare compliance practices and procedures.
Understanding of governmental regulations and reporting requirements.
Broad based knowledge of the entrepreneurial business environment.
Three or more years of relevant compliance experience.
Experience withIT Security and Privacy policy based on Federal (HIPAA CMS NIST) HITRUST and various state requirements as it pertains to the business.
1 years of compliance or auditing compliance experience.
Understand the different types of vulnerabilities the criticality of vulnerabilities and how vulnerabilities are addressed.
Able to maintain a high level of confidentiality and integrity.
Takes initiative and leads change improvements.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Excellent leadership and business acumen.
Solid analytical and technical skills.
Able to organize coordinate and direct projects.
