Its impactful multimedia content is shared via a number of digital platforms including website and social media. The team is currently based in three locations in Ukraine Poland and the UK.
The Senior Journalist/Video Lead will work alongside BBC Ukrainian desks acting as a point of video & editorial reference for journalists and providing editorial leadership.
As leader of the video planning process you will:
To be successful in this role you must demonstrate fluency in written and spoken Ukrainian/English and the ability to communicate in Ukrainian/English effectively including the ability to edit and oversee videos and adapt with accuracy clarity and style appropriate to differing audiences and forms of media.
Experience working as a Journalist using video and leading a team.
Be able to edit quickly under pressure (video audio texts etc.) and to subedit or rework other peoples content.
