Join us as a key player in our Security Operations team where youll lead the charge in developing a comprehensive framework for Security Operations and Technology compliance reporting.
This role is crucial in meeting our Bertelsmanns (our parent company) compliance standards and enhancing our Technology Operations through strategic exception reporting. As the subject matter expert youll provide invaluable insights to senior leaders so this is your opportunity to drive innovation and make a significant impact at the worlds largest trade book publisher.

Key responsibilities:
Accountable for understanding and documenting security operations and compliance reporting requirements ensuring agreement by key stakeholders.
Develop reports and processes leveraging automation and tools for efficient data population.
Build reporting structures that provide core information metrics compliance status intelligence and commentary.
Collaborate with Security Operations Technology Operations Information Security teams and senior leadership to meet their information needs.
Develop escalation triggers and processes for timely and proportionate handling of compliance and anomalies.
What you will bring:
Essential criteria:
Proven experience in Information Security or Cyber Security ensuring you can apply context to reporting requirements effectively.
Strong Business Analyst skills to understand stakeholder needs build processes and interpret data accurately.
Familiarity with security compliance frameworks to ensure precise reporting against key controls.
Ability to learn and utilise common Cyber Security tools for relevant and accurate data reporting.
Excellent written communication skills to craft meaningful reports for audiences ranging from technical experts to senior executives.
Excellent ability to communicate influence and persuade a diverse range of stakeholders both internally and externally.
An automationfocused mindset dedicated to minimising manual effort and maximising valueadded work.

Hybrid working is our current practise with time spent working from home in our London office or on occasion our Colchester required in the office will vary depending on projects and collaborative working sessions and we are happy to discuss this during the interview process. As a guide we expect 2 days per week will be spent in our office locations.
