Meet the team:
Join a diverse and dynamic team of manufacturing process and equipment engineers and get your hands dirty supporting a mix of manual and highly automated equipment. This role brings together mechanical systems electrical measurement robotics software UX and data informatics to deliver a sustainable manufacturing process and build high tech medical device products on a global scale.
Where you come in:
You will lead cross functional teams in structured problem solving and statistical data analysis to solve problems through root cause understanding
Will be hands on with equipment that ranges from manually operated equipment to advanced manufacturing machine automation to investigate and troubleshoot issues
You will design improvements for equipment and manufacturing processes that will improve product quality increase productivity and reduce costs
Perform equipment and process validation (IQ/OQ/PQ) to ensure equipment meets specifications performance regulatory and business requirements
You will collaborate across groups including Regulatory Quality Assurance R&D and Process Engineering to bring the best possible experience to Dexcom patients
Write instructions and provide training and coaching to technicians and operations on best practices new and existing procedures
You will be part of a diverse and multicultural organization that works with a global team that has members from around the world
What makes you successful:
Your experience driving improvement in machine performance test methods validation standards and manufacturing processes
You use of analytical tools like Structured Problem Solving or DMAIC to drive continuous improvement
You have deep knowledge of PLC software HMI software and machine visions systems
You have a total system perspective to create high performance solutions where mechanical electrical and software components interact with people
Your flexibility in a fastchanging environment and ability to prioritize projects while maintaining timelines
You are detail oriented and organized with excellent written and verbal communication skills

Experience and Education Requirements:
Typically requires a Bachelors degree in a technical discipline and a minimum of 58 years related experience or Masters degree and 25 years equivalent industry experience or a PhD and 02 years experience.
