Job Description
About the Role: We are looking for a Manufacturing Technician to join our Industrial Fibers Team. This associate will understand and apply the bestinclass manufacturing principles in a High Technology and HighQuality Culture. The standard weekly hours for this 2nd Shift commitment are Monday through Friday from 3:00pm to 11:30pm.
This role will be located at our facility in Elkton Maryland.
Pay and Benefits:
- $19.00 $32.00 per hour
- This role is eligible for an additional $2/hour shift differential pay for evening night and weekend shifts (in California the shift differential pay is $2.40/hour).
Factors considered in extending an offer within this pay range include (but not limited to) education experience knowledge skills and abilities. Required Qualifications:
- Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and machine operation experience
- Demonstrated commitment to continuous learning and personal development
Documentation habits problem solving and organizational skills - Must have effective communications skills both verbal and written
- Basic computer skills and ability to learn more advanced computer applications
Ability to make good product quality decisions with an attention to detail Ability to positively influence teammates Ability to multitask prioritize and operate several pieces of equipment simultaneously in a safe manner - Ability to lift push and pull 35lbs on a routine basis
- Ability to work overtime as the business requires including weekends
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience identifying and driving continuous improvement efforts
Experience working cross functionally to meet business needs Experience working in SAP S/4HANA software
