The Director CTIES Global Real Estate Lead plays a crucial role in advancing the Global Workplace Experience (GWE) strategy by aligning the organizations digital infrastructure networking roadmaps and investments with GWEs objectives. This position involves estimating planning and managing global real estate infrastructure projects across Commercial PGS and R&D sites. The manager oversees a global team of 810 colleagues(including People Managers) and up to 30 contracted service providers across all regions including Regional Leads as direct reports as well as indirect report from other teams. Additionally the role requires collaboration with CTIES Leadership CTIES Service and Solution Owners and peers within Digital to support the GWE global site strategy and enhance workplace experience goals.
What You Will Achieve
In this role you will:
This role also ensures consistent delivery of CTIES infrastructure service requirements including scoping design costing project planning and execution across the Real Estate portfolio.
This role is responsible to collaborate with Client Partners Digital Creation Centers CTIES Leadership & CTIES Product/Service Owners primarily focused on Real Estate portfolio changes to provide highlevel cost estimates during portfolio planning and input to CTIES Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs). Project demand may be generated from GWS PGS & WRD Digital Client Partners Business Development Site Dispositions or other Pfizer transformational initiatives.
This role is responsible for coordinating with GWE WRD & PGS Client Partners to develop the project costs(both capital and expense) associated with real estate programs as part of annual portfolio planning. This role will be key member of the monthly GWE Capital Portfolio Review Committee.
This role is responsible for managing over 100 real estate projects annually with a capital budget of $12$15 million and an expense budget of $1$2 million.
This position and team will also support the CTIES Digital Business Integration Diligence and Execution Teams in business development activities as needed.
The position will work directly for the Vice President CTIES Business Integration and Real Estate.
Lead a global team with direct reports ensuring the successful delivery of CTIES services across the global real estate facilities portfolio.
Provide Subject Matter Expertise and technical/functional guidance to teams on RE Infrastructure Networking and CTIES patterns to meet site requirements
Conduct capacity planning against the global project portfolio demand enabling resource flexibility across regions as needed.
Champion global Real Estate Infrastructure process harmonization across all regions.
Drive strategy and framework for site disposition patterns leading to more predictable outcomes aligned with business requirements.
Cultivate the sharing of best practices and project lessons learned across regions and strategic sites to foster continuous improvement.
Serve as the primary point of escalation for site work resulting from real estate portfolio changes.
Provide strategic direction and technical infrastructure requirements along with cost estimates during annual portfolio planning and ongoing portfolio management.
Manage people technology and financial resources potentially utilizing resources outside of direct authority.
Share knowledge across the Global Business Unit and establish systems for knowledge sharing.
Foster continuous improvement and innovation encouraging acceptable risktaking in daily operations.
Develop solutions to complex problems and hold accountability for decisions within the Division or Global Business Unit.
Contribute to strategy development and execution managing talent and leadership development and participating in succession planning.
Hold senior managers accountable for skill development and diversity and lead resources to deliver on priorities.
Set strategic direction for the Division or Global Business Unit influencing senior management decisions and working with customers or leadership to achieve objectives.
Manage multiple projects within a division ensuring alignment with organizational goals and fostering professional growth among Direct reports.
Oversee project execution monitor progress engage with crossfunctional teams to mitigate risks and promote a culture of continuous improvement to enhance future project performance.
Here Is What You Need (Minimum Requirements)
Degree in Information Technology or related technical field or equivalent experience.
At least 8 years of information technology or pharmaceutical business experience with increasing responsibility
8 years of Project Management experience; PMP Preferred
Proven capability leading projects in agile environment; Scrum Master or Product Owner certification preferred.
Understanding and experiences in Real Estate/Site Networking Infrastructure and technology patterns used at our Sites.
Demonstrated experience in managing medium to large global crossfunctional IT projects with multiple stakeholders across multiple geographic sites.
Experienced people manager able to effectively balance day to day management of operations and programs.
Proven experience working and building relationships with senior business Executives and leadership teams developing and delivering strategy and operating plans with demonstrated competency in strategic thinking leadership and relationship management
Ability to understand largescale system implementations in different technology focus areas
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build relationships influence outcomes and deliver effective presentations to a variety of audiences
Adaptable and demonstrates flexibility in the face of shifting targets thrives in new situations
Strategic thinker understands the overall context business implications and is able to think through a problem both conceptually and logically for better solutions
Bonus Points If You Have (Preferred Requirements)
Masters degree
Relevant pharmaceutical industry experience
Strong multidiscipline experience with a preference for experience in technology strategy and management management consulting and engineering
Ability to recognizes development needs and identifies development opportunities within the team
Ability to manage performance of team through goal setting ongoing assessment coaching & performance evaluation
Demonstrated experience in budget management including budget submission forecasting updates and portfolio reporting.
Demonstrated ability to communicate with and influence organizational diverse crossfunctional teams at different levels of the organization to align on key priorities and outcomes.
Demonstrated ability to work in ambiguous situations and create structure when necessary without over complication
Strong track record delivering on commitments
Demonstrated ability to lead and manage crossfunctional teams
Experience in managing largescale digital transformation projects
Ability to navigate and influence in a complex matrixed organization

PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS
Capability to conduct site visits which may require extensive walking based on the sites size and layout.

Domestic and International travel of 1020% as required to support global real estate teams and global real estate initiatives.

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $169700.00 to $282900.00.* In addition this position is eligible for participation in Pfizers Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 20.0% of the base salary and eligibility to participate in our share based long term incentive program.
