Job Description
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled SAP WM (Warehouse Management) and MM/PP (Production Planning) Analyst to support and enhance our SAP operations in logistics and production. The ideal candidate will have strong functional expertise in both SAP WM and PP modules with handson configuration experience and the ability to work closely with business partners to identify design and implement SAP solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the domain expert (SME) for SAP WM and PP modules.
- Gather business requirements and translate them into functional specifications and SAP system configurations.
- Analyzing functionality gaps and developing alternatives
- Develop high level design and coordinate with development team and Coordinate changes requiring infrastructure team involvement Evaluating IT infrastructure and capabilities as well as facilitating cost effective improvements.
- Configure SAP WM and PP modules to support business processes Procurement of stock material consumable material service. The special procurement process includes intercompany purchasing. cross stock and dropship. PO release strategy and workflow. Purchasing price condition technique scale purchasing price settings. Purchasing source determination. MRP. Invoice receipt goods issue stock transfer physical counting cycle counting. Form design (purchasing form GR slip label printing etc.). Batch management shelflife management (FIFO) serial management.
- Collaborate with multifunctional teams including MM SD and QM to ensure seamless integration.
- Support production issues change requests and enhancement projects.
- Perform system testing integration testing and support user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Provide enduser training and documentation.
- Work with SAP technical teams (ABAP developers) for custom developments and enhancements.
- Participate in SAP upgrades migrations or S/4HANA transformation projects.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Information Technology Engineering or appropriate combination of education and experience.
- Minimum 6 years of experience in SAP WM and MM/PP modules.
- Strong handson configuration skills in SAP WM (inbound outbound inventory management storage types bins) and PP (work centers routings BOMs MRP production orders).
- Completed at least 2 full cycle implementations and experience in support and enhancements.
- Experience with integration to other SAP modules like MM SD SM FI/CO and QM
- Good exposure on Interfaces EDI Idocs / ALE .
- Strong problemsolving and analytical skills.
- Superb communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with SAP R3
- Experience in discrete and/or process manufacturing environments.
- SAP Certification in PP or WM.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools (JIRA ServiceNow etc.).
