Housing Management Worker
Gateshead
Permanent Full time (37.5 hpw)
Earn 12.60 per hour (salary 24638 per annum)and great benefits including Health Cash Plan

This is a great opportunity for a Housing Management worker to join our team here in Gateshead. As our Housing and Property expert youll support our customers ensuring their homes are safe and well maintained. Providing a housing management service youll support them to manage and maintain their tenancy and rent accounts with the aim of helping them move on to a secure longterm accommodation!
Typical day as a Housing Management Worker
- Customer group low to medium needs
- Making sure that our customers properties are homes they can be proud of youll support your customers by engaging and involving them in their tenancies.
- Help our customers with housing benefit claims making sure that these are received on their rent account.
- To support the next customers who needs our help and for maximum occupancy youll turn around vacant or voidproperties within set timescales. This will involve picking up a broom
- Youll carry out and record the routine safety and compliance checks in our buildings and communities making sure were compliant.
- Youll also manage the admin updating records ordering and arranging payment for works to be done

You bring
- A background in property management but thats not a deal breaker! Perhaps youve worked in an environment with compliance and health and safety checks
- A can do positive attitude youre proactive and well organised and able to work on your initiative.
- A passion for delivering excellent customer service and a genuine desire to help your customers.
- The ability to work on your own initiative positively influencing people from all different backgrounds.
- Confidence working collaboratively with colleagues in other parts of the business as well as with external partners
- Passion for property and get a thrill out of knowing that your properties are the best they can be for our customers!

- Based at our service in Gateshead youll spend your time travelling around the properties in our Gateshead patch.
- Able to use technology for creating and updating support plans making benefit claims and doing tenancy signs ups
- To get from A to B you may need a vehicle insured for business purposes. The great news is that well pay your mileage!
- Youll need an Enhanced DBS check done and we pay for that.
