Driven by the NSW Governments unwavering commitment to tackle the critical housing issue we provide essential support and strategic guidance. The Planning Land Use Strategy Housing and Infrastructure (PLUSHI) team are the driving force behind the Departments strategic planning policy rezoning and infrastructure projects all aimed at making New South Wales a better place to live.
The role
The Senior Open Space Planner will provide support to the Senior Manager to lead specialist open space consultants and provide open space strategic planning and policy advice that will shape the development and delivery of highquality open space across NSW. The role will focus on the delivery of the Transport Orientated Development open space program and deliver projects to the community.
About you
Support the strategic direction of the Open Space team by providing support on formulation of policies projects and programs for public open space. This will include preparation of policy and strategy reviews planning strategies strategic planning presentations and community engagement.
Provide expert and strategic advice across design strategic planning and policy development to support government on open space and landscape planning issues projects and major development and manage the collaborative strategic planning and policy development processes for open space across the Department and other agencies to ensure best practice outcomes and creation of sustainable adaptable and flexible open spaces that meet community needs and aspirations for NSW.
