Job Description
Excite the children with your food wizardry inspiring them to be curious and intrigued by all types of fruits and vegetables!
At Green Leaves Early Learning we take pride in building a learning environment where children are inspired to be curious about taste and flavour. Working closely with the Centre Chef at Green Leaves Early Learning CENTRE NAME each day you can:
- Use your extraordinary culinary skills to support the Centre Chef in preparing a wide variety of nutritious meals and purees as well as working to dietary requirements for babies and children
- Greet our wonderful families with a big warm friendly smile each day and wow them with your baristamade coffees and freshly baked treats (barista training provided if required)
- Provide thoughtful culinary classes alongside our Centre Chef and Educators
- Ensure the highest level of food safety by maintaining a clean and safe kitchen in accordance with Food and Council Authority requirements and Green Leaves Early Learning Standards
- Combine your amazing time management and communication skills to support the kitchen to run smoothly each day.

Ideally wed love for you to hold:
- A current Food Safety Certificate (or willing to obtain upon commencement)
- A current State relevant Working with Childrens Check (or willing to obtain upon commencement)
- Current Child Protection Training (or have the willingness to obtain)
- Current Anaphylaxis Asthma CPR and First Aid Certificates (or have the willingness to obtain)
- Experience cooking for young children aged from 6 weeks to 6 years of age
- Availability to work 20 hours per week
- The willingness to step up into Chefs role when they are absent from the Centre from 6:30am to 2:30pm Monday to Friday.
