Job Description
Kartini Clinic a nationally recognized innovative pediatric clinic is seeking a flexible energetic creative supportive and team oriented OnCall School Teacher for our day treatment milieu. The ideal candidate is someone who loves children and has experience working with children within the ages of 6 18.
Teachers support students and their families through a lengthy absence from school while they are in the day treatment program. Oncall teachers provide coverage for the fulltime school teacher during unplanned absences vacations and transitions plans.
Oncall teachers are not required to be available at any specific time except when they agree to cover for a specified time period.
While this is an oncall position there is the possibility of regularly scheduled teaching hours during the 2021 school year for this position.
Due to COVID19 experience and comfort with technology is preferred.

*Ability to connect with tutor and encourage students
*Confidence in junior/senior high curriculum especially algebra/geometry
*A sense of authority with a calm demeanor
*Creative ideas during school holidays and summer break
*Desire to learn and implement new strategies
*Team player with a positive attitude
Requirements:
*Bachelors degree
*Experience working with children
*Organized
*Punctual
*Maintains current CPR certification or able to get certified within 30 days of hire
*Able to successfully pass a DHS and ODE background check
