Junior Financial & Accounting Analyst
(1year contract for maternity coverage)
We are looking for a Junior Financial & Accounting Analyst to work efficiently without sacrificing accuracy. You will be responsible to work with large amounts of numerical data handle tasks with deadlines and provide transparent and complete reports to management. In this role you should have a firm grasp of accounting and financial practices and should be prompt detailoriented and analytical.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Complying with all company local state and federal accounting and financial regulations.
- Participating in the preparation of periodic reports and accounting reconciliations
- Expenses booking and participation in monthly closing
- Participating in invoicing process (invoice booking credit/debit notes)
- Analyze financial data and provide support on financial exercises like budget and forecast
- Supporting internal and external audit
- Presenting data to internal stakeholders
Qualifications
- 35 years of experience in similar position
- Bachelors degree in Accounting or related field.
- Strong knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint
- Strong analytical communication and teamwork skills.
- Understanding of accounting and financial processes.
- Attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills (both Greek & English)
