Graphic Designer Summer Student PHBI
The Alberta New Home Warranty Program Group ofCompanies (ANHWP Group) is Albertas most experienced and most trusted newhome warranty provider and educator for homebuilders. As Albertas leader innew home warranty products and services for 50 years we continue to raise thebar to meet the needs of homeowners and our Builder Members.
This position resides with The Alberta NewHome Warranty Program (ANHWP) and works alongside The New Home WarrantyInsurance (Canada) Corporation (NHWICC) and the Professional Home BuildersInstitute of Alberta (PHBI) and Dweller Home Services.
Accountable for:
The successful incumbent will be accountable forhelping create and improve the visual and media parts of elearning includes designing graphics editing videos supporting content uploads onthe Learning Management System (LMS) and working with the team to makelearning content clear and engaging.
Work location: Calgary Alberta
Term: May 20 2025 to August 222025
Working hours: 8:30am 4:30pm (35 hours/week)
Wage: $18/hour
Responsibilities:
The primary responsibilities of the positiontitle are:
- Enhance existing graphical user interfaces for elearning content.
- Edit professional engaging audio and video content.
- Assist the instructional designer to create interactive layouts.
- Conversion of elearning content across various software applications.
- Extract and source graphics as per instructional design requirements.
- Integrated media strategies for advertising and communications.
- Create graphical user interface and elements for digital and print media
- Support content uploads on the Learning Management System.
- Ability to learn new software applications.

Possesses goodjudgment and has strong attention to detail.
Possessesknowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and has excellent computer skills.
Ability toleverage social digital and media platforms to increase brand awareness
- Working towards a Degree or Diploma in Graphic Design or a related field is preferred
- Experience with graphic design and multimedia
- 1 years experience in visual design and online course development is an asset
- Working knowledge of Photoshop Illustrator Premiere Pro and InDesign
- Elearning development and elearning software familiarity is an asset
Must be between 1630years oldas this positionis partially funded by the Canada Summer Student grant program
- Currently enrolled in a postsecondary education in Accounting or Business Administration or related area and returning to a postsecondary institution following your work term. Candidates must be at least in the 2nd year of their Program.
- Available and legally authorized to work in Canada for at least 14 week full time workterm
