Why Your Role Matters:
The Academic Engagement Librarian is a professionally qualified member of the Information Services department. The role builds and manages relationships that provide information and evidence to inform the development and delivery of innovative and responsive Library services and participates in the planning delivery and evaluation of those services.
The Academic Engagement Librarian brings indepth disciplinary knowledge and a solid understanding of scholarly communication and publishing. They work closely with staff from other Library units and the University to deliver a broad range of highquality services to all sectors of the UNSW community. These highquality services include Online Chat in person support at the Help Zone Outreach Consultations for research and teaching Research consultations embedded library sessions and disciplinespecific services all part of the Library Learning and Teaching Framework.
Who You Are:
Our ideal candidate should possess a strong service orientation excellent collaboration and communication skills. You should be able to work independently and in teams and enjoy providing guidance and support to a diverse range of stakeholders including faculty members researchers and students.
