Job Description

About the Role:

ITSUGAR known for its bold cheeky brand voice and candyfilled retail experiences is seeking a Social Media Marketing Manager to lead our growing digital presence across multiple platforms. This role is perfect for a strategic and creative social expert who thrives in a fastpaced trenddriven environment and is passionate about building community creating content and partnering across departments to drive brand and product growth online.

Key Responsibilities:

Social Strategy & Content Leadership

  • Lead and execute ITSUGARs social media presence across platforms including Instagram Facebook TikTok LinkedIn Threads X (formerly Twitter) and YouTube
  • Develop platformspecific strategies and creative content tied to the ecommerce marketing calendar product launches and seasonal brand campaigns
  • Partner with ecommerce to support digital platforms like TikTok Shop Amazon and more providing content that drives awareness conversion and community engagement
  • Create or oversee engaging shortform video lifestyle imagery and branded assets using platforms like Illustrator Photoshop and CapCut
  • Maintain a bold consistent and playful brand voice across all platforms

Influencer & Brand Collaborations

  • Own ITSUGARs influencer strategy using Sprouts Influencer Management tool (formerly Tagger) including outreach communication and performance tracking
  • Work closely with licensed and cobranded partners (e.g. Tokidoki Pomp Snow & CIRQUE OREO HARIBO) on product collection launches social media collaborations and experiential campaigns
  • Manage social initiatives and digital storytelling for nonprofit campaigns such as our partnership with MakeAWish and coordinate activations and giving programs

ECommerce & Digital Marketing Integration

  • Collaborate closely with the ecommerce team to align social strategy with product launches promotions and key moments across TikTok Shop and Amazon
  • Deliver content for digital advertising paid media campaigns and email marketing support
  • Track and optimize performance of socialdriven traffic and UGC for digital selling platforms

InStore & Experiential Marketing

  • Partner with store teams district managers and mall property marketing contacts to execute instore events product sampling activations and seasonal experiences
  • Coordinate signage bounceback coupons and other instore marketing tools
  • Support visual updates for digital signage and store media platforms like Rockbot

Brand Communications & Public Relations

  • Manage the inbox and assist in coordinating press calendar updates with thirdparty PR agency
  • Collaborate on press release content influencer requests and external media opportunities to support store openings exclusive launches and brand moments

Requirements:

  • 4 years of experience in social media marketing with at least 12 years in a managerial or lead capacity
  • Proven ability to execute multiplatform content strategies and grow brand channels
  • Strong knowledge of ecommerce integration UGC strategy and content creation for social commerce (TikTok Shop Amazon DTC platforms)
  • Proficient in Sprout Social Canva Adobe Creative Suite and shortform video editing tools
  • Excellent writing communication and project management skills
  • Creative collaborative and highly organized with a love for pop culture trends and digital storytelling

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience with lifestyle retail or consumer goods brands
  • Background in digital commerce or social selling platforms
  • Knowledge of influencer CRM systems and campaign reporting
