SCS Engineers is looking for a Strategic Marketing Managerto play a critical role in shaping and executing the companys marketing strategy to drive growth brand leadership and client engagement. This role is responsible for aligning marketing initiatives with business objectives developing and leading gotomarket strategy and supporting the development of thought leadership and brand visibility in key markets. The ideal candidate brings a blend of strategic thinking technical industry understanding a collaborative mindset and handson marketing execution capabilities. Experience preferred in the engineering consulting industry branding strategy accountbased marketing market research lead generation social media and marketing campaign management. This position will report to the Chief Strategy Officer in a hybrid work environment based in the Overland Park KS office.
How you can make an impact
Strategic Planning & Leadership
- Partner with the Chief Strategy Officer to develop and execute a comprehensive strategic marketing plan that supports corporate growth initiatives.
- Analyze market trends client insights and competitive landscape to inform marketing and business development strategies.
- Lead development of annual marketing goals KPIs and budgets; monitor and report on performance.
Brand Development & Awareness
- Enhance brand positioning across strategic markets.
- Oversee integrated marketing campaigns that increase awareness and reinforce the companys thought leadership.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure brand consistency across channels and platforms.
Content Communications & Digital
- Lead creation and distribution of highimpact content including white papers case studies videos and social media.
- Manage digital marketing initiatives.
GotoMarket & Client Engagement
- Support gotomarket strategy for service offerings.
- Develop marketing assets and tools to support business development teams in proposal and capture efforts.
- Drive client engagement programs including webinars conferences trade shows and industry events.
Team Leadership & Collaboration
- Collaborate with marketing team members and manage external vendors/agencies as needed.
- Partner with business line leaders subject matter experts and sales teams to ensure alignment on priorities and messaging.
- Foster a collaborative and performancedriven marketing culture.
Qualifications
- A bachelors degree in marketing communications business administration or a related field is required.
- A minimum of 8 years of professional experience in marketing or business development is required. Experience working with a professional services organization is preferred.
- Must be skilled in web analytics tools and marketing software including CRM programs. Proficient in social media platforms webinar broadcasting video creation and technical publications.
