Lead Flight T&E Advisor

KBR is seeking a Lead Flight T&E Advisor (TOP SECRET SSBI CLEARANCE) to join our team in the National Capital Region (Joint Base AnacostiaBolling). The successful candidate will provide Test and Evaluation (T&E) Program Management support to the Advanced Sensors Technologies (AST) Program Office (PO) for the Advanced Airborne Sensor (AAS) and Tactical Airborne Sensor (TAS).

Responsibilities

  • Provide expert assistance to the AST throughout the Operational Testing (OT) process to include: Serve as a valueadded participant in all OT planning and progress meetings providing the Government with recommendations for improvement to the processes. Prepare independent assessments and analysis of OT progress for each major testing event highlighting the deficiencies and the operational impacts discovered during OT. Provide mitigation strategies as needed. Assist with management of acceptance testing efforts.
  • Provides timely and accurate testprogram status updates.
  • Participate in Systems Engineering Technical Reviews (System Readiness Review Preliminary Design Review Critical Design Review etc.) program management and Test Readiness Reviews. Participate in technical interchanges in support of T&E objectives. Review of the technical aspects of proposals that pertain to T&E missions. The review provides a thorough crosswalk between contract requirements and the Prime Contractors proposal to determine whether the proposal is adequate.
  • Manage and verify the Primes performance to the contracts specifications and requirements and determining success in meeting system level T&E deliverables. Effective oral and written communication skills. Effective organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a dynamic fastpaced environment.
  • Produce and/or review DoD acquisition T&E products such as the Cost and Requirements Document Capabilities Production Document Capabilities Development Document Test and Evaluation Master Plan etc.

Basic Qualifications

Clearance: Top Secret/SSBI security clearance.Must have completed a Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) within the past six (6) years or currently enrolled in the Continuous Evaluation (CE) Program.

Education & Experience:

  • BS/BA and 10 years of experience is required.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with integrated teams comprised of military civilian and contractor personnel.
  • Experience working in a DoD security environment.
  • Work closely with engineering teams to evaluate integrate and deliver radar and sensor technologies.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Handson experience operating aircraft airborne systems or weapon systems
  • Operational experience with DoD activeduty customers
  • Experience with Advanced Sensor Technologies Program Office
  • While the BS/BA degree is required candidates are preferred to graduate within a Technical discipline but it is not required.

Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40 hours/week.

Compensation: $. The salary range posted is based on the national average. The offered rate will be based on the selected candidates location knowledge skills abilities and/or experience contract affordability and in consideration of internal parity.

Additional Compensation: KBR may offer bonuses commissions or other forms of compensation to certain job titles or levels per internal policy or contractual designation. Additional compensation may be in the form of a signon bonus relocation benefits shortterm incentives longterm incentives or discretionary payments for exceptional performance.
