Job Title:Safety Specialist

Note: This is an onsite role based and can be based out of our service center offices in Lafayette Jennings Lake Charles or Scott LA. Candidates selected from outside of these areas would need to relocate for this oppertuntity; Relocation assistance is not available for this position may be filled as a Safety Specialist I II or III depending on experience and demonstrated success at the Safety Specialist level.
Job Summary/Purpose
All members of Entergys safety function will be expected to own safety work to prevent incidents and seek to improve with the understanding that zero harm is possible. This position is tasked with examining the workplace/worksite for environmental or physical factors that could affect employee and/or contract partner health safety comfort and performance. Ensuring the workplace/worksite is as safe as possible is accomplished through conducting risk assessments safety analyses job site reviews and coaching.
