This is a hybrid role combining strong journalistic instinct with streaming abilities. A streaming journalist will be responsible for originating shaping and delivering stories tailored for live streams and digitalfirst formats helping the BBC connect with new and existing audiences across platforms.
This role operates within the MENA region as part of the BBC World Service supporting the Arabic Persian and potentially Turkish language services
You will be reporting to senior Journalist/reporterStreaming and will have the following responsibilities:
Content Planning and Production Management
Editorial Reporting and Support
Streaming Operations
SEO and Digital Optimization
Content Quality Assurance and Editorial Standards
Guest and Talent Coordination
Innovation Crisis Management and Trend Monitoring
Health Safety and Compliance
Language Ability
A strong written and spoken ability in Arabic or Persian would be an advantage but not essential.
