Purpose of Position: The Project Coordinator will provide support to the Project Manager for the overall management of projects acting as a liaison between them and various technical disciplines engaged on the project. They will be aware of all aspects of work scope and will work to ensure project needs are met by applying exceptional ability to communicate problem solve and complete tasks in an effective and timely manner.
Reporting Structure:This Project Coordinator will report directly to the Controls Manager.

Primary Responsibilities:- Review and analyze material costs for purchase
- Manage change orders and subcontractor invoices
- Review and Manage work orders and shop drawings purchase orders and change orders
- Confer with project team contractors and suppliers to resolve any construction problem
- Perform tasks directed by the PM in support of project needs
- Cost estimating and quantity takeoff
- Documentation distribution and logging (RFI Site Instructions Meeting Minutes etc.)
Experience Education & Qualifications:- 2 years of experience in a project coordination role
- Diploma or BSc Degree in Engineering Construction Coordination or related field would be an asset
- Construction industry experience designbuild MS Office Spectrum Traqspera etc.
- Ability to read drawings specifications inspection reports etc.
- Ability to manage subcontractors and vendors
- Ability to negotiate and track change orders with both owners and subcontractors
- Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks at a time
- Ability to meet sensitive timelines
- Strong knowledge of MS Office suite including MS Excel and MS Project
