What will be your daily pursuit
Your daily pursuit is preparing flavorful dishes that fuel our guests adventures using fresh local ingredients to bring a taste of the region to every plate.
What will your compensation be
The starting wage for this position is $20.00/hour.

This job is posted as part of our seasonal hiring for Spring/Summer 2025.

What will you do in this job
- Wash peel and cut vegetables.
- Clean and cut meat fish and poultry.
- Maintenance and cleanliness of kitchen areas and dining areas. Ensure work environment is safe and free of hazards.
- Prepare season and cook foods such as soups salads meat fish gravies vegetables desserts sauces and casseroles according to prescribed recipes.
- Carve meatprepare portions on plates and add gravies sauces and garnish to servings.
- Preparing any special dietary dishes as required.
- Stocking and maintenance of product level as directed by the Sous Chef and Head Chef.
- Communicating with coworkers and management forwarding observations and comments in a timely fashion.
- Maintaining regular and consistent attendance and punctuality.
- Other duties as assigned.
What skills and experience do you need for this job
- Previous cooking experience required.
- Completion of a culinary certificate or equivalent in work experience an asset.
- Mature energetic dependable and selfmotivated.
- Highly organized with a great sense of attention to detail.
- Effective communicator.
- Comfortable working on your feet for extended periods of time in both an indoor and outdoor environment at a high altitude. Be prepared for all weather conditions (Snow Rain Wind Hail) as the restaurant is at the top of Whistlers Mountain!
