This position is responsible for the maintenance of the parks grounds equipment and utility systems. Applicant will perform skilled and nonskilled maintenance duties including basic carpentry plumbing electrical cleaning grounds maintenance facility maintenance and equipment repairs. This position also maintains equipment records performs supply inventories and other assigned record keeping and other duties as assigned. Must have a valid drivers license and be able to work a varied schedule including most weekends and holidays. A criminal background investigation and driving record check will be performed.

Applicants must meet or exceed the following qualifications: The formal education equivalent of a high school diploma; plus one year of experience or training in the building construction trades general building maintenance or in the repair or maintenance of mechanical equipment. Other jobrelated education and/or experience may be substituted for all or part of these basic requirements except for certification or licensure requirements upon approval of the qualifications review committee.
