Job Overview
The Performance Analytics group is a highprofile team of leaders with vision and problem solvers who apply rigorous analytics to help assess and guide TMobiles key postpaid consumer marketing initiatives. We combine our ability to dive into the data with sharp business insight we have our finger on the pulse of the business and advise senior leadership on key business decisions. We are looking for a driven selfstarter with an analytical approach who is passionate about delivering business insights. You will conduct fastpaced analysis on various initiatives and trends in customer acquisition revenue and churn that drive the trajectory of the business. You will influence marketing strategies and provide strong decision support to business owners across the org. You will regularly deliver and present actionable wellsupported recommendations to executive leadership.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Own analysis of key initiatives launched by TMobile including Uncarrier moves and promotions
  • Provide strong decision support and robust recommendations based on datadriven analysis executing highprofile analysis and delivering data narratives across business groups
  • Measure or assist in measuring the value of our acquisition and upgrade offers evolving customer base and initiatives to develop revenue and reduce customer churn
  • Construct executive level presentations and present complex analytical findings in clear concise and decisionimpacting manner
  • Develop and lead positive constructive collaborations with one or more crossfunctional teams


Education and Work Experience:

  • Bachelors Degree Data analysis data science similar quantitative fields (e.g. engineering operations research computing science statistics economics finance or equivalent practical experience :Advanced Degree Preferred
  • 4 years Working experience solving analytical problems using quantitative approaches financial operational analysis management consulting or analytics roles Required
  • 4 years Working experience reporting and analyzing performance & data visualization (Tableau Power BI etc.) RequiredAbility to leverage visualization tools such as Tableau PowerBI to generate insights
  • 4 years Working experience in advanced analytics which includes SQL analysis of large complex datasets competitive analysis quantitative analysis & research Required
  • Working experience with Python R Go or similar statistics or data science language preferred. Preferred
  • Telecommunications Preferred


Knowledge Skills and Abilities:

  • Data Analysis Exceptional at using wide ranging datasets to deliver broad analysis and insights to improve value creation and return on investment. (Required)
  • Problem Solving (Required)
  • Ability to manage relationships influence and communicate complicated analysis logic and solutions in a clear and concise manner and provide decision support analysis and recommendations that help to drive effective execution of initiatives. (Required)
  • Financial Modeling (Required)
  • Ability to bring structure to ambiguous problems in a complex business portfolio and translate results to key insights
  • Ability to collaborate with and influence others on business outcomes with factbased recommendations
  • Telecommunications (Preferred)


Licenses and Certifications:

  • Other Business Certification (Preferred)

  • At least 18 years of age
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States

Base Pay Range: $77900 $140500

Corporate Bonus Target: 15%

The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in the role. The successful candidates actual pay will be based on various factors such as work location qualifications and experience so the actual starting pay will vary within this range.

At TMobile employees in regular nontemporary roles are eligible for an annual bonus or periodic sales incentive or bonus based on their role. Most Corporate employees are eligible for a yearend bonus based on company and/or individual performance and which is set at a percentage of the employees eligible earnings in the prior year. Certain positions in Customer Care are eligible for monthly bonuses based on individual and/or team performance.
