What youll be doing
Youll be joining CIBCs Core Banking and Payments Technology . Youll be at the heart of CIBCs digital transformation successfully delivering complex enterprisescale payments projects.As a Azure Developer youll lead the technical design development and integration of crossfunctional multiplatform application systems. Youll lead the planning and strategy for the technical design development and integration of these applications. Youll ideate and collaborate with a diverse team to create and build flexible innovative solutions that deliver a bestinclass client experience.

How youll succeed
Design and development Perform and coordinate complicated application programming activities. Design the applications technical infrastructure using specific databases programming languages utilities and testing the design and development of costeffective and innovative solutions.
Strategic planning Develop multiyear technology roadmaps that align with the banks vision strategy and business goals. Lead multiple complicated projects involving backend systems new technology and the enhancement of existing applications.
Leadership skills Act as the development team lead and run codereview sessions with the wider team to ensure the project is on track to meet goals. Support and mentor intermediate and senior developers by sharing knowledge collaborating and problem solving.
Who you are
You can demonstrate 35 years of handson development experience in:Cloud (Azure) ETL (DataBricks ADF ADLS etc.) Python/Scala Databases (Oracle SQL Server Azure SQL MI) and Tools (GitHub Azure DevOps Autosys). Have experienced migrating infrastructure to latest currency (Infrastructure upgrades) including migration to Azure Cloud.
