We are seeking a highly experienced Senior AWS DevOps Engineer with deep expertise in Linux systems Amazon EMR and modern infrastructure as code (IaC) tools.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in AWS cloud services DevOps automation and enterprise integrations particularly with Okta and Active Directory (AD).
This role is critical to the design deployment and management of secure scalable and highperforming data platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and administer complex Linux environments with 10 years of handson experience.
Design deploy and maintain AWS DevOps solutions including EMR EKS and Serverless architectures.
Configure and manage EMR clusters integrating with Okta AD Groups for rolebased access control.
Work with AWS Lake Formation Parquet file formats and ETL/data processing tools like IBM DataStage.
Develop and maintain infrastructure using Terraform and Terragrunt.
Implement and manage Okta API integrations and support Oktabased application provisioning.
Set up and troubleshoot Jupyter notebooks with SparkMagic in EMR/EMR Serverless environments.
Collaborate with security and identity teams on Centrify and Active Directory configurations.
(Bonus) Work with AWS SageMaker and other AWS data science and analytics tools.
Qualifications:
10 years of professional experience in Linux system administration.
5 years of experience in AWS cloud infrastructure especially EMR and related services.
Strong background in DevOps practices CI/CD and infrastructure automation.
Handson experience with Okta AD integrations and identity/access management.
Proficiency in Terraform/Terragrunt Python or Bash scripting and infrastructure security.
Knowledge of data lake architecture big data processing and associated AWS tools
