Salary: $52000.00 to $72000.00

New graduates welcomed to apply but one year of experience preferred.

Primarily Outpatient with minimal inpatient float.

Summary:
Physical therapy services are provided in response to a physicians referral and physical therapists plan of care in accordance with the laws governing the state of New Mexico and within the scope of the therapist assistants training knowledge and experience. This may include but is not limited to treatment of functional mobility motor function muscular strengthening sensation wounds ambulation balance social and environmental needs. Direct patient care is provided to individuals of all ages as his or her caseload demands. Physical therapist assistants will assist in coordinating and providing patient and family education and execute effective physical therapy services as appropriate. Therapist assistants will consult and coordinate with interdisciplinary team to provide comprehensive treatment. The employee will participate in educational programs quality improvement and program development. Nonpatient responsibilities are to be completed as assigned. Therapist assistants will pursue continued education opportunities and educational goals in addition to assisting with the marketing of physical therapy services.
